Olena Webb Welch and Her Ancestors
The early Webbs lived in Virginia, Tennessee and Missouri…and later Arkansas. They had come from England and France, and the first verified ancestor served under the young, ambitious Lt. Col. George Washington. The Webbs were energetic enterprising farmers, soldiers, surveyors, lawyers, politicians, at least one sheriff, accountants and bankers…leading to the amazing, beautiful Olena — a dynamic and accomplished woman of many talents who completed the Webb trans-continental migration by moving all the way to the Pacific shore.
