  Bought 400 acres for Sebastian near Petersburg on Mill Creek (?) or the south branch of the Potomac. “Haigler, a pioneer family of German origin came 1763 to Mill Creek to 400 acres.” Morton’s History of Pendleton Co, W VA Jacob killed by Indians between 1760 and 1763. Inventory and appraisement filed 12 Mar 1760 in the Virginia Room at the University of West VA Library at Morgantown. Papers state he was buried on a farm near Petersburg.
